Riverside Brookfield High School

Riverside Brookfield High School is a public high school located in Riverside, IL. It serves the towns of Riverside, Brookfield, LaGrange Park, North Riverside and Broadview . The mascot of Riverside Brookfield (RB) is Rouser the Bulldog. RB recently finished a major renovation. It is right next to the Brookfield Zoo and had a program for freshman with the zoo called SEE (School of Environmental Education) team. The SEE Team and many other clubs, activities, and faculty members were cut following a failed 2011 referendum.

Notable alumni

• Tom Baugh was an NFL center (1986—89), playing most of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.^[1][2]

Their critically acclaimed album Amelia Earhart (The First Vagina in Space) went on to sell 3 million copies worldwide and has been described as "groundbreaking" by revered artist The RZA

• Michael Colgrass (1949) is a composer. He won the 1978 Pulitzer Prize for Music, and then won an Emmy Award in 1982 for a PBS documentary Soundings: The Music of Michael Colgrass.^[3]
• Bob Daily (1978) is an author, producer, and award winning television writer. He received two awards from the Writers Guild of America for his work on these television series Frasier, and is currently a producer for the series Desperate Housewives.^[1][4]
• Jack Dykinga (1961) is an author and photojournalist who won the 1971 Pulitzer Prize for feature photography.^[1][5]
• Tom Kondla was a professional basketball center playing the 1968—69 season, mostly with the ABA Houston Mavericks.^[1][6]
